I’m Laura Dorsey, the founder and creative heart behind Halcyon Design.

My journey into interior design began long before I pursued it professionally—it began around sun-dappled tables and polished silver, in the homes of my grandmothers, who taught me that beauty is not only in the details, but in the way a space makes you feel.

Halcyon Design is named in honor of them—and of a way of living that celebrates warmth, elegance and meaningful connection. With a blend of old-world charm and modern sensibility, I help clients create homes that reflect their lives, their histories, and their dreams.
